Auto-didactic:Trifextra Week 96

“On to the quick and dirty Trifextra.  This weekend we are assuming that many of you are slogging your way through leftovers and family bickering (or is that just us?) and thus we’re going way easy on you.  This weekend we are asking for a 33-word free write.  Give us whatever you’ve got.”

TRIFEXTRA: WEEK NINETY-SIX: CHECK IT OUT!

Here’s my Trifextra. You can find the definition if you click on the link. So here we go. Oh, by the way this is a true story. Another testament to the awesome public school system of New Jersey.  I’m being sarcastic in that statement on the New Jersey public school system. It actually isn’t awesome. It’s awful.

Auto-didactic:

I am auto-didactic. I learned more after dropping out.

Early on in school I already knew what they were teaching.

I had a “teacher” tell me zucchini didn’t exist. Seriously?

“I’ve eaten it!”

    • Yeah,, but a lot of times the teacher shouldn’t be teaching. I was in 6th grade. A 6th grade teacher should know better. Granted she was an asssistant but even the main teacher said if you turn the flame on your stove up to high the water won’t reach boiling point quicker. Anyway. Well sadly to say Nyobi the female died the 3rd day we had her. Morpheus is still going strong. We decided not to get a new mate until we get a new, larger tank with filtration. Thanks for asking.

    • Thank you! I’ve seen her in grocery stores and just wanted to grab a zucchini, point it at her. and wave it in her face but these days I may have been arrested.
