JOIN TRIFECTA ..FACE YOUR FEARS
Here’s what Triextra asks of us this week:
“On now to our quick little Trifextra prompt. Katherine Paterson, author of Bridge to Terabithia, wrote, “It’s like the smarter you are, the more things can scare you.” We are looking for a 33-word explanation of what scares you (or your character). We already know you’re intelligent, so, according to Paterson, you should have no shortage of potential subject matter.”
HERE IS MY ENTRY-
FEARS
———————-
Here’s a list of some of my fears:
Mere sight of blood, suffocation, drowning, loss of ability to hear.
My Worst fear is losing you my love. Without you I would probably die.

Love the build up in this. It’s so matter-of-fact AND emotional. Thanks for linking up and don’t forget to come back and vote!
Thanks. I like to try different things while writing. Like the rhyme scheme I used for “Fears” was first and last word in each sentence. I usually don’t do that. Thanks again.
This is a lovely.
Thanks Draug. I appreciate the comment. 🙂
Hey draug. I don’t know if you’ve read it yet but I posted part one of a story I’m writing. I’d like to know what you think. I value your opinion because you write great posts.

Such a real life fear and beautifully stated. I hope she got the message!!
Thanks. She did. She’s my fiance her wordpress name is seablackwithink. We write each other stuff all the time. She’s a very good writer, and the best person I’ve ever met in my life. Thanks again for the compliment.
This is so lovely. And I’m with you on the drowning. 🙂
Thanks. 🙂 Yeah drowning and suffocation are big fears. I want to breath until I die. I think the drowning fear come from my best friends 12th or 13th b-day/pool party and this kid I never really liked got me in a head lock and held me under the water longer than I liked. I cried, lol. So yeah no drowning for us.
This is so sweet 🙂 (The sight of blood makes me queasy, too…as do loose teeth. My kids LOVE to show me their loose teeth to see my reaction.)
Thank you. I used to get nose bleeds when quite often when I was a kid. I hated it and would pass out. I’ve passed from the sight of blood and other reasons approximately 30 times. So far. Mostly from blood or getting blood work done. As for the loose teeth, I think that’s funny but endearing. I lost lost my 1st tooth on the 1st day of 1st grade. lol
Lovely sentiment in the last line.
Thanks. It’s the truth. I love her so much. She’s it for me when it comes to love and relationships. It’s like I never really loved anyone and certainly never got this much love from anyone in my life.
Nicely written. We all have similar fears, don’t we…
Thank you very much. Yes we do. There are many different fears out there but it’s still a finite number, I think.
No need to fear,
as this morning my dear,
you let me comment and play…as you worked away..
I am honored to have such an angel of a fiance.
It needed to be done.
I enjoy doing things for you, it’s fun.
You need not fear, cause you’re the one.
I’m the moon and you’re the sun.
awe..sweetboy…we’re killing them softly with sweetness lol.
Yup, babygirl. Seems like many people like our mushy stuff. 🙂
When I was younger I remember that drooly puppy love mush…and when I was determined to be single I never could comprehend those sentiments…for the first time in my life…all this sweetness and love…is truth–pure and honest.
I love you so much through kisses and cuts….there is absolutely no doubt sweetboy.
I went through the same phases. And I feel the same way about us. It’s never meant as much as is does now. I love you PI much!
I love you more than anything after these last few days…you are my floaties:)
I’ll always love you more than anything. After the accident even more so. We really got to see how much we love and care about each other. Not that we didn’t already know 🙂 You know what I mean. We’ve both been more worried about the other than ourselves and i think that’s what true love is. Love you PI much!
Exactly sweetboy…I am watching you sleep right now (creeper:)) thinking of how special you are.
lol, I was doing the same thing last night so I too am a creeper. Not only was I thinking how special you are and how much i love you but also dirty thoughts 😉 so i’m extra-creeper. :*
we both are:)
R & D Creeper shall be our names.
Research and Development: Creeper division
lol, that’s a good one. “We do the research so we can be the best creep to watch you sleep.” That’s our motto.
The fear of being alone .. being left… and lace that with the earluer… so sweet to see you two lovebirds playing along.. and thank you for commenting and visiting mine.
Thanks, Bjorn. I’m glad you like our playing. Actually most of the time we write similar things unknowingly. We usually read each others post once we are both done. And you’re very welcome for the comments and visits to your blog. You have talent and it’s a pleasure to read your posts.

I like the way this leads almost up to a circle.
That last line…
Thanks. In every comment I’ve gotten for “fears”, that last line is the focus. As it was when I wrote it. Thanks for the comment.
I’m pretty danged sure that your worst fear is the one least likely to ever cross your path, Meat Beat =) Blessed, you (both) have been.
You’re right. Thanks for calling me meat beat. I like that. The last line of your comment reminds me of yoda. So that’s your new nickname. 🙂 Wise Yoda you have schooled me once again.
